"Sadie Hawkins Dance, in my kakhi pants...there's nothing better Oh Oh oh"

Right before I moved out of my old apartment complex, our ward decided to have a Sadie Hawkins Dance (where the girls ask the guys). It was encouraged that the asking be all cutesy and fun. So Jen and I, the only two in our apartment at the time, decided to ask these two boys, Jared and Brian. As we were looking around our apartment for asking inspiration, Jen came across a really old piece of Dubble Bubble bubble gum. Naturally, we both immediately thought we're going on a "Double Date" and we can somehow incorporate "Dubble Bubble" into our asking. About an hour later, we had an enlarged piece of cardboard Dubble Bubble" that said this:

Naturally, no men can refuse a date from us two hotties:) This is what we found on our door a few days later:

Truth.

It's a Sadie hawkins tradition to make your own shirts or sweatshirts and wear them with your date to the dance. So we tie-dyed our shirts:) It was really fun and each couple made their shirts to match.
Me and Brian and our sweet shirts.

Our silly group. (We had another couple join in with us:) The ward photographer was very into positioning us for pictures and such...somehow we ended up with a picture of us fighting and someone trying to break us up...
I have no idea why, but i guess it makes for a fun picture:)
All in all, it was a super fun night with dancing and games, and then we played night games on campus!
